Legislative accomplishments
In my first term, I served on the Government Operations and Military Affairs Committee that oversaw a broad array of issues, from elections law, municipal charter changes, ethics for state and local governments, open meeting law, regulation of substances, state government structure, operations of the judiciary system, oversight of law enforcement policies, and others.
In serving in this capacity, I helped develop legislation that expanded access to professions for folks in Vermont, recognized the contributions of the Rotary organization throughout the state, brought a focus and public health lens to policy-making, and elevated the concerns and needs of our city and our district.
The two values most important to me are courage and kindness, and I try to live by these values everyday by expanding opportunities for others, supporting health, and ensuring safety and security for all so everyone can build a full, connected life. I hope to earn the respect and trust of our community and I'm grateful and privileged to be your representative.
